Nawroz University Commemorates the 36th Anniversary of Anfal
In the presence of Prof. Dr. Abdulwahab Khalid Mosa, President of Nawroz University, alongside college deans, professors, and students, Nawroz University commemorated the thirty-sixth anniversary of the infamous Anfal campaigns. Notably, the Baathist dictatorial regime organized a series of military campaigns to exterminate the Kurdish people in the 1980s, resulting in over 182,000 casualties and the demolition of more than 4,500 villages.
