On Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 12:00 p.m., Nawroz University concluded the "Training Course for Lawyers and Law Graduates" during a closing ceremony held on campus. The ceremony was attended by the University President, Assistant Professor Dr. Mevan Arif Abdulrahman; the Vice President for Administrative, Financial, and Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Hoger Taher Tawfiq; the President of the Kurdistan Bar Association – Duhok Branch, Attorney Diler Bakr Abdul Karim; the Dean of the College of Law and Political Science, Professor Dr. Dilshad Abdul Rahman Yusuf; as well as a number of faculty members and course participants.
The course was jointly organized by the College of Law and Political Science at Nawroz University and the Kurdistan Bar Association – Duhok Branch. It brought together more than 15 lawyers and law graduates and ran for 15 days. Throughout the course, participants attended specialized lectures and legal analyses delivered by a distinguished group of academics and legal professionals, aiming to enhance their practical skills and deepen their legal knowledge.
