President of Nawroz University Receives a High-Level Delegation from the Kurdish Language Foundation in Western Kurdistan

The President of Nawroz University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mevan Arif Abdulrahman, received a high-level delegation from the Kurdish Language Foundation in Western Kurdistan on Saturday, 27 June 2026, at 11:00 a.m. The delegation was headed by Viyan Hassan and Anahit Abdullah, and was accompanied by Prof. Dr. Abdulsalam Najmaddin Abdullah.

The President warmly welcomed the delegation, and the meeting focused on discussing the academic activities carried out by both institutions in the field of the Kurdish language, as well as exploring ways to strengthen and further promote these efforts.

During the meeting, the President reaffirmed Nawroz University's support for initiatives aimed at advancing the Kurdish language in Western Kurdistan, emphasizing the importance of organizing and implementing scientific and academic activities that contribute to its development.

At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation expressed its appreciation for the warm hospitality and the academic and scientific initiatives undertaken by Nawroz University.
