Our History

The Department of Computer and Communication Engineering at Nawroz University was established in 2013, welcoming its first cohort of students in the 2013–2014 academic year.

Since its inception, the department has served as a premier academic hub dedicated to training engineers who design and build the next generation of interconnected technologies.

Offering a four-year Bachelor’s program taught in English, the department bridges the physical and digital worlds through a comprehensive curriculum that integrates computer engineering fundamentals—such as microprocessors, embedded systems, and hardware-software integration—with advanced telecommunications engineering, including wireless and wired networks, digital signal processing, and modern cloud infrastructures.

Through a rigorous balance of theoretical instruction and hands-on experimentation in state-of-the-art hardware and networking laboratories, the department has cultivated a reputation for producing technically competent graduates equipped to lead the region’s technological advancement.
