As part of the contribution of Nawroz University faculty in serving the community and transferring academic and professional expertise to various institutions, Mr. Haval Bankin, an instructor at Nawroz University, presented a training course on the use of artificial intelligence in accounting and auditing. The course was organized by the Syndicate of Accountants and Auditors in Duhok for its members in the Akre district, with the participation of more than 50 individuals.
The course concluded on Thursday, September 3, 2026, in the presence of Mr. Ahmed Mohammed, head of the Syndicate of Accountants and Auditors in Duhok. He delivered a speech highlighting the importance of developing the professional capabilities of accountants and auditors and keeping pace with modern technological advancements to accelerate workflows and improve performance.
During the course, Mr. Haval Bankin reviewed several practical applications of AI tools in daily accounting and auditing tasks. He provided participants with practical applications and step-by-step methods to utilize these tools effectively in their professional field.
At the end of the course, participants expressed their appreciation for the organization, content, and presentation of the training. Certificates of participation were then distributed in the presence of the Syndicate head, the course presenter, and the directors of the Treasury and Income Tax departments in Akre.
