On Tuesday, 15 September 2026, the President of Nawroz University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mevan Arif Abdulrahman, participated in the 1st International Conference on Applied Sciences and Development (ICASD 2026), held at Akre University for Applied Sciences.


The conference opened in the presence of a representative of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, presidents of universities in the Kurdistan Region, as well as researchers and academics from various universities.


The two-day conference brings together local and international researchers and features a range of scientific and research sessions focusing on applied sciences and development.
