Nawroz University President Participates in an Event at the Chinese Consulate General in Erbil

On Thursday, 10 September 2026, the President of Nawroz University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mevan Arif Abdulrahman, accompanied by a delegation from the University, participated in a special event organised by the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Erbil. The event focused on cultural and academic exchange and visits by students from universities in the Kurdistan Region to China.

At the beginning of the event, the Chinese Consul General in Erbil, Mr. Liu Jun, delivered a speech highlighting the importance of organising academic and cultural visits and strengthening opportunities for exchange and communication among students and academic institutions.

Several students who had visited China were also given the opportunity to share their experiences and discuss the academic and cultural knowledge they had gained during their visits.
