During his participation in the NAFSA Annual Conference & Expo, one of the world’s leading events in international education and academic exchange, the President of Nawroz University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mevan Arif Abdulrahman, gave a television interview to Rudaw Media Network, highlighting the importance of the participation of Kurdistan Region universities in major international academic forums.

The President noted that Nawroz University’s participation in NAFSA reflects its commitment to strengthening the international presence of universities in the Kurdistan Region and building academic partnerships with universities and educational institutions worldwide.

In this regard, he stated:

“We seek to establish a stronger presence for Kurdistan’s universities at NAFSA and within the international academic community.”

He further emphasized that Nawroz University continues to expand its international cooperation efforts and create new educational opportunities for its students through academic partnerships and exchange initiatives.

He added:

“We are working to create opportunities that enable our students to pursue their studies in the United States as well.”

The participation of Nawroz University in NAFSA forms part of the university’s broader strategy to enhance international collaboration, strengthen academic partnerships, and provide students and researchers with greater access to global educational opportunities.
