Nawroz University Receives Delegation from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research

The President of Nawroz University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mevan Arif Abdulrahman, received a high-level delegation from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research on Wednesday, 9 September 2026. The delegation was headed by Dr. Yasin Salih, Director General of the Directorate of Scholarships and Cultural Relations.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the importance of strengthening scientific and cultural cooperation with countries around the world and expanding academic relations to create further opportunities for study and academic development for students and learners in the Kurdistan Region.

The Ministry’s delegation praised Nawroz University’s continued efforts to advance its academic activities and strengthen its scientific and cultural relations at both the local and international levels. The delegation also commended the University’s efforts to broaden cooperation with academic institutions within and beyond the Kurdistan Region.
