The Directorate of Media and Public Relations operates under the Presidency of Nawroz University, managing institutional communication, media engagement, and the university’s public image at local and international levels.

The directorate aims to strengthen Nawroz University’s institutional standing by delivering accurate information, fostering effective relationships, and developing professional communication practices that reflect the university’s vision, academic values, and service to society.

The Directorate of Media and Public Relations serves as the university’s central communication unit, coordinating internal and external messaging with professionalism and consistency. Its core responsibilities include preparing and publishing official news, reports, and public statements; providing comprehensive media coverage of academic and cultural activities; and managing the university’s social media platforms.

The directorate supervises the official university website, ensuring accuracy, regular updates, and alignment with institutional identity. It organizes official ceremonies, visits, and public events in coordination with the Presidency and colleges. Additionally, it oversees photo and video documentation, maintains media archives, supports colleges and administrative units in outreach activities, and manages relations with local and international media institutions. Through these functions, the directorate enhances Nawroz University’s visibility and institutional coherence.


Achievements or Key Activities

The directorate has enhanced the quality and consistency of official university news, expanded digital publishing channels, strengthened social media engagement, improved website content management, and played a key role in documenting major events and supporting institutional marketing and student recruitment efforts.


Future Goals

Over the next three years, the directorate aims to implement an integrated communication strategy, upgrade the university website into a more interactive platform, expand regional and international media presence, and further develop professional protocol standards that reinforce Nawroz University’s academic identity.
