Introduction

The Information and Communication Technology Center (ICT) at Nawroz University provides technological services, support, and digital solutions for all colleges and administrative units, ensuring efficient and secure operation of the university’s information systems.

Our mission is to develop, maintain, and enhance the university’s digital infrastructure by delivering reliable ICT services, supporting academic and administrative activities, and promoting modern technologies that improve learning, communication, and institutional performance.

The ICT is responsible for managing, supporting, and developing the university’s technological systems and digital platforms. Its core duties include maintaining network infrastructure, ensuring reliable internet connectivity, and providing technical support to both staff and students. The department oversees data protection, cybersecurity measures, and regular system backups to safeguard institutional information. It manages the university’s websites, online services, and digital communication channels, while also supporting e-learning systems such as Moodle and other academic platforms. Additional responsibilities include software installation, hardware maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, and supervising IT-related projects. The ICT Department works closely with colleges and administrative units to meet their technological needs and delivers training programs to enhance digital skills across the university.

Through continuous monitoring and development, ICT ensures a secure, efficient, and modern digital environment.

Achievements or Key Activities

The ICT Center has improved network reliability, expanded Wi-Fi coverage, and strengthened cybersecurity measures across campus. It has successfully upgraded servers and digital systems, enhanced Moodle performance, and provided continuous technical support to staff and students. The department also developed new online services that improved communication and administrative efficiency.
