Overview
Nawroz University (NU) is the first private university established in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. Since its foundation in 2004, the University has been committed to providing high-quality higher education and contributing to the academic, social, and economic development of the region.
Over more than two decades, Nawroz University has grown into a dynamic academic institution that combines tradition with innovation. The University currently offers approximately 24 academic programs through seven colleges, serving students from across the Kurdistan Region and Iraq.
Nawroz University is dedicated to academic excellence, scientific research, and community engagement. Through modern teaching methods, continuous quality enhancement, and the implementation of the Bologna Process, the University seeks to provide an educational experience that prepares graduates for the challenges of an increasingly interconnected world.
In addition to its academic programs, the University supports students and society through a range of academic and professional centers that promote research, training, career development, and community service.
With more than 12,000 graduates, Nawroz University continues to strengthen its national and international partnerships, foster innovation, and contribute to the development of a knowledge-based society.
