About the Department
The Software Engineering Department at Nawroz University was established in 2023. It was later renamed to Software Engineering and Artificial Intelligence in 2025 to form a powerful foundation for modern technology, where software engineering provides the structured methods and engineering principles needed to design, build, and maintain reliable software systems, while artificial intelligence adds intelligent capabilities that enable machines to learn, reason, and make decisions.
Integrating these fields allows the creation of advanced applications such as intelligent software systems, autonomous solutions, smart data analysis tools, and innovative technologies that address real-world challenges across industries.
The period of study is four (4) years and the language of instruction is English. Only graduates of the scientific branch, preparatory schools are admitted to the department.
