About the Department
Department of Architecture Engineering was established in July 2013, following the College of Engineering at Nawroz University. The first batch of students was accepted in the academic year 2013-2014, the study duration is five years, during which students complete 300 ECTS credits leading to the award of a Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering.
The department of Architecture Engineering offers for the enrolled students a suitable environment for architecture education that is modern and at the same time rooted in the context and environment of the region.
The curriculum provides students with the theoretical and practical skills with opportunities for professional life.
The department intends to prepare students as architectural engineers having knowledge of sustainable design, construction and technical requirements of Kurdistan and the region building industry.
The period of study is five (5) years, and the language of instruction is English. Only graduates of the scientific branch, preparatory schools are admitted to the department.
