Mission

The mission of the Department of Architectural Engineering at Nawroz University is to prepare graduates with strong design capabilities, technical competence, ethical awareness, and a deep understanding of the built environment.

The department is committed to delivering an education that integrates architectural design methodology; knowledge of history, theory, human behavior, and urban contexts; and the environmental impacts of building.

Through studio-based learning, digital and manual communication skills, teamwork, professional ethics, and engagement with real-world problems, we aim to equip students with the ability to analyze and design buildings, apply structural and building systems, utilize construction technologies, prepare professional construction documents, and communicate effectively with diverse audiences. 

The department further promotes continuous professional development and responsiveness to local and global societal needs. It intends to prepare students as architectural engineers having knowledge of sustainable design and the construction and technical requirements of Kurdistan and the region building industry.
